3ds max studio glass crystal effect

Here I will teach you about 3ds max studio glass crystal effect

1, First of all you will press (ctrl+N) now you will see the new window is open
Now click on the Geometry > Standard primitives and Using the following Setting
Create a Box in the front view



2, Now click on modifier window and applying Spherify modifier and use the following setting



3, Now object should be like this


4, Select the object Right click and select the Editable poly



5, Now you will see your object convert into the Editable poly like as image shown below


6,Select the polygon mode in the Editable poly



7, And click on the (insert) in the Editable poly parameters use the following setting



8, Again click on the (Extrude) in the Editable poly parameters use the following setting



9, Now click on modifier window and applying (Turbo Smooth) modifier and use the following setting



10, Now object should be like this



11, Now press the button (M) you will see the material window is open
Use the following setting image as shown below







12, press (8) u will see the Environment & Effect window is open and use the following setting



13, Now you will see the final image is ready press (f9) to see the preview of the image

Modeling Iron Man Head


This tutorial needs you to understand basic use of 3dsmax.


1. First, we need a blueprint. I looked everywhere on the net, but unfortunately images below is the best that I get. Front face image is relatively easy to find. But, the head side image is not. I had to modify and draw myself. So, you'll find head side image kinda blurry. Right click both images below and save to your harddisk. You're gonna need them to texture the blueprint.
